This is the image for the news article titled NEW: Success PeriodSalt River High School and junior high students needing extra academic support will have another opportunity, this time during the school day thanks to a new schedule developed by SRHS leaders that adjusts the normal bell and lunch schedules.

Students who have a D and/or F grade in any class as of 9 a.m. on Fridays will be placed on the Success Period list. Students who are more than two weeks behind in any CAI course will also be placed on the list. Student who enter SRHS deficient in credits or lacking passing credits will be placed in Success Period automatically.
Classroom teachers will notify students who will be participating in Success Period during 4th period on Mondays. Students can earn their way “out” of Success Period by improving their grades and completing an Exit Request form.

There will be ONE lunch period. When the bell rings to dismiss 4th period, students who are NOT on the Success Period list will be dismissed to a longer lunch. Students who are released for the full hour of lunch will only be allowed in the cafeteria or at picnic tables. At 12:53 p.m., students will be given access to the gymnasium and library.

SRHS appreciates your support and patience as students and staff become familiar with this new and exciting opportunity. If you have any questions or concerns, please call 480-362-2000.
