Salt River High School will providehigh school students with the opportunity to recover credit through in-person learning courses. (See below for more information about Summer School for junior high students.) 

DATES
Summer School runs Monday-Thursday, June 4-28. (Please note: June 14 is celebrated at SRPMIC Day and there is no school; to make up the lost class time, Summer School classes will be held Friday, June 15.)

COURSE INFORMATION
To sign up for a Summer School class, students must have previously attempted the course (must be demonstrated on their transcript).

Students will work individually or in small groups with a highly qualified content teacher.

Students may register for one Morning Session course and/or one Afternoon Session course (see attached registration packet for details). Each course is 0.5 credits.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Transcripts are required from students whose most recent school was not SRHS (grades 9-12). In addition, if not a current student at SRHS, student/parent will need to turn in a completed enrollment packet.

Mesa Public School students, please contact Miranda Johnson at 480-362-2588 for a Summer School Credit Information form which must be completed in addition to this form.

BUS/MEALS
Bus transportation is provided to participants residing within the boundaries of SRPMIC.

FREE breakfast is offered to ALL students from 7:30-8 a.m. Free lunch is offered to
students from noon to 12:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to eat both meals at school.

 JUNIOR HIGH

DATES
Summer School for junior high students (also known as "Junior High Enrichment") begins Friday, June 15, then runs Monday-Thursday, June 18-28. (Please note: June 15 is the only Friday session.) The program runs from 8 a.m. to noon.

COURSE INFORMATION
The program objectives for Junior High Enrichment are to problem solve real-life scenarios with daily STREAM (Science, Technology, Relationships, Engineering, Art and Math) projects using reading, writing, and mathematics skills. Projects will generate curiosity and support student creativity, innovation, and inspiration through design and production of prototypes.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
If not a current student at SRHS, student/parent will need to turn in a completed enrollment packet.
